R: Aspectul unghiei indica o posibila infectie micotica (o ciuperca) care sa va genereze problema incarnarii unghiei.
Tratamente locale pentru unghia incarnata nu or sa va ajute.

Ideal este sa faceti un examen micologic din unghie pentru confirmarea infectiei micotice. O avulsie chimica a unghiei afectate (procedura nedureroasa) urmata de tratarea unghiei cu solutii antimicotice locale timp de luni de zile ar fi pasul urmator.

Daca unghia incarnata devine o problema acuta atunci trebuie efectuata o avulsie partiala sub anestezie locala urmata de cauterizarea si fenolizarea radacinii unghiei cu probleme.
